More than just faces. The joy of portrait photography is in connecting with a new friend, discovering a new place, capturing special moments and memories. A portrait session is never just a "get it over with" sort of thing for me; instead, it's an opportunity to create real art with real people.
I always, always carry a camera. To the library, to work, through TSA at the airport. I love to challenge myself to find beauty everywhere, not just within the confines of a styled shoot or a portrait session (as fun as those might be). Remember, though, that this is merely the highlight reel.
Babies, children, couples, and families. So far in my photography journey, these are the most infrequent sessions, but they tend to be some of my favorites. This gallery also holds photos of friends who could be sisters, and some little adventures that I happened to catch on camera.
